Conan Knoll is a storyteller, writer, messaging strategist, polling expert, and former journalist.
Conan develops communications campaigns on issues including economic equality, entrepreneurship, the gig economy, tax reform, and the environment. He draws on his journalism and political advocacy experience to develop compelling storylines that grab the media’s attention and inform target audiences.
Conan has led public opinion polling on topics ranging from taxes and the Affordable Care Act to minimum wage increases and LGBTQI+ non-discrimination, using the research to build public narratives that resonate with journalists, policymakers and the public.
Conan was a newspaper reporter and editor for 12 years, covering politics, government and business. He won awards for enterprise reporting, breaking news coverage and editorial writing, and led newsrooms that were honored for excellence in journalism.
He and his wife are raising three rowdy children by the ocean in Santa Cruz, California.
